This site is running our Bootstrap Genesis Theme. By combining the WordPress Genesis Framework with Bootstrap, we create a solid foundation on which your site can be built. Out of the many options available to developers we’ve specialized in Genesis and Bootstrap, to bring you the best of what these already powerful technologies offer. In the spirit of collaboration, we’ve made our Bootstrap Genesis Theme freely available to other developers on GitHub.
Genesis Framework
By using the Genesis Framework, we can focus on what makes your site special while knowing the best-in-class base functionality provided by the Genesis Framework will ensure the other details.
Bootstrap
Bootstrap, an open source front-end framework, provides base stylistic elements, front-end functionality, and responsive design. We specialize in high quality CSS and jQuery/JavaScript, which when combined with the core Bootstrap features allows us to tailor the front-end experience of your website.
Bootstrap Genesis (Bootstrap 4)
I’ve created a new version using Bootstrap 4. Bootstrap 4 Genesis is open source and freely available.
I’m running Bootstrap 4 Genesis on my personal site salferrarello.com.
Legacy Bootstrap Genesis (Version 3)
Open Source
The Bootstrap Genesis Theme is an Open Source Genesis Child Theme for Bootstrap 3 available on GitHub. Pull requests are welcome on the develop branch. We use this theme as a starter theme for all our theme work.
Bootstrap 3
As of February 2015, this project has upgraded from Bootstrap 2.3.2 to Bootstrap 3.
Sass
We have been using the Sass CSS Preprocessor since 2012. While Bootstrap was originally created using Less, we’ve found Sass to be a preferable platform. Bootstrap is now distributed in both Sass and Less.
Grunt
Bootstrap Genesis is setup to use the Grunt task runner to automate Sass and JavaScript concatenating, processing, and minifying.
